If you haven’t made the drive out to Carmel Valley for this one yet, put it on your list. The centerpiece is a three-story treehouse that’s genuinely impressive — not just a cute name slapped on some planks, but a real climbing structure with slides that older kids will actually want to revisit. There’s a separate zone for littles, the misting doorways are a genius touch on hot valley days, and the musical equipment gives younger kids something to do while parents catch their breath. Restrooms and parking make it easy for a full afternoon, and the whole thing feels like someone actually thought it through from start to finish.
