That whale structure is the real draw here — kids can climb all over it, duck inside, and shoot down the slides while parents actually get a moment to sit on one of the benches without chasing anyone into traffic. It’s small, no question, but the design is clever enough that toddlers through early grade-schoolers all find something to do with it. The whole place stays surprisingly clean and well-kept for how much use it gets. Parking is easy, and the proximity to the Emeryville Public Market means you can grab lunch and make a proper afternoon of it.
