Fort Irwin Playground

Out here in the Mojave, you take your green spaces where you can get them, and this playground does the job for families on post. It’s wheelchair accessible, which matters when you’ve got kids of all abilities wanting to play together. The location near base amenities means you’re not making a special trip — it fits easily into whatever else you’re already doing that day. Not flashy, but it works, and honestly that’s what most military families need between all the other demands of life at Fort Irwin.
