If you’re spending the day at Kings Beach, this little spot is worth knowing about. The climbing structure keeps kids in the 4-12 range busy while adults actually get to enjoy the Lake Tahoe views — and those views are legitimately good, especially later in the afternoon. It doesn’t get as slammed as you’d expect given the location, so there’s usually room to spread out. Restrooms on-site and a basketball half-court make it easy to stretch a visit, and the lake is basically right there if the kids want to transition to the water.
