Alondra Park Playground #3

If you’re local to Lawndale, you already know Alondra Park is kind of a staple. This particular playground sits near the lake, so the kids inevitably end up chasing ducks at some point — just part of the deal. There’s a solid walking path that loops around, plenty of open grass for birthday parties or just letting kids burn off energy, and the shade trees actually do their job on hot days. Restrooms are on-site and kept reasonably clean, which parents around here genuinely appreciate. It draws all ages and has that relaxed, come-as-you-are vibe that makes it easy to spend a whole afternoon.
