One of those low-key neighborhood spots that actually delivers what you need — a few solid BBQ grills, plenty of benches, and enough space to spread out with the family without feeling crowded. The new trees they’ve planted are still coming in, but give it a season or two and this place is going to have some real shade going on. What makes it a little different from your average Pomona park is the murals — there’s artwork on the building and sidewalk that gives the whole place some personality. Good pick if you’re planning a casual cookout and don’t want to deal with the bigger, more crowded spots.
