North Park Playground

The giant frog statue alone is worth the trip — kids absolutely lose their minds over it, and honestly it’s become a bit of a neighborhood landmark. This spot is squarely aimed at the little ones, so if you’ve got a toddler who’s not quite ready for the bigger equipment elsewhere in the city, it fits the bill nicely. The climbing structure is manageable for the 2-8 crowd without being boring, and there are benches for parents to actually sit and breathe for a minute. Restrooms on-site, which in an urban playground is never a given and always appreciated. It’s got that North Park energy — a little quirky, community-minded, and genuinely well-used by locals.
