Bonelli Park is already a solid destination on its own, but the playground near North Shore Beach makes it worth the extra trip out to San Dimas. You’ve got trails nearby if the kids need to burn off more energy after they’re done playing, and the beach access is genuinely convenient — not just a technicality on a map. The setup is accessible, which matters more than people realize until they actually need it. Honestly, for families on the east end of the San Gabriel Valley, this spot doesn’t get nearly enough credit.
