The ant hill feature alone is worth the trip — it’s one of those things kids just lose their minds over, and you don’t see it anywhere else around here. Throw in a water feature and a creek right nearby for some actual nature poking around, and you’ve got a solid few hours sorted. Covered parking is a genuinely big deal in summer, and the picnic tables mean you can actually commit to a full afternoon without scrambling for somewhere to eat. Recently got some updates too, so it’s looking better than it has in years. Good for little ones and older kids alike, which isn’t always easy to find.
