North Boulder Library Playground

Honestly, this playground is one of the better additions to North Boulder in recent years — the design actually makes sense, which isn’t something you can say about every city project. The natural wood throughout gives it a warmth that metal and plastic structures just don’t have, and kids seem to respond to it differently, more tactile and exploratory. That slide built into the structure is the main draw for most little ones, but the spinner and sandbox keep the younger crowd happily occupied too. It’s geared toward the 1-8 set, so don’t expect a ton for older kids, but for families with toddlers and early elementary age, this is a solid spot right next to the library. Makes for an easy combo — grab some books, burn some energy, done.
