Fort Garland Park

Small town parks in the San Luis Valley don’t always get the love they deserve, but Fort Garland Park is genuinely one of the nicer ones out here. The grounds are kept up well, which isn’t something you can say about every spot along this stretch of Colorado. It’s a solid place to stop and stretch your legs, especially if you’re passing through on US-160. Locals seem to take real pride in it, and that shows.
