Skinny Ridge

If you live in Grand Junction and haven’t taken your bike out to Skinny Ridge yet, you’re missing out. The hill is legitimately steep — not in a dangerous way, just enough to make you work for it and feel it in your legs the next morning. There’s a bike track and a walking path, so whether you’re on two wheels or two feet, there’s something to actually do here. It backs up near the trails, which means you can tack on more mileage if you want to make a full afternoon of it. Kids, adults, serious riders, casual walkers — this one works for all of them.
