Namaqua Park

Locals know Namaqua is one of those parks you don’t really tell too many people about. The Big Thompson River runs right through it, there are mature trees that actually keep you cool in the summer heat, and the whole place just feels removed from the noise of town. Kids have slides and swings to keep them busy while adults claim a picnic table near the BBQ grills — honestly a solid setup for a Saturday. The walking path winds through nicely, and with trails and the pond close by, you can easily make a full afternoon of it.
