If you’ve got kids who are into pirates or anything ocean-related, this Westminster spot is worth putting on your regular rotation. The playground is built around a pirate ship and lighthouse setup, so there’s plenty of climbing structure to keep the 2-9 crowd busy — and the slides and swings mean younger toddlers aren’t left out while older kids do their thing. Parents can actually see the whole play area without chasing anyone down, which matters more than people admit. Shade trees and picnic tables make it easy to stay a while, and the basketball court and soccer field give older siblings or adults something to do nearby. It’s consistently clean and well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every park in the area.
