High St Playground

If you’re wandering through Mystic and need a quick stop to let the kids burn off some energy, this little spot on High St does the job. It’s got the classics — slides, swings including baby swings, and a climbing structure — nothing fancy, but solid and well-used. The neighborhood is genuinely quiet, which is a nice contrast to how busy downtown Mystic gets. Parking can be tricky so I’d suggest walking over if you’re already in the area. Best for kids roughly 2 to 12, and honestly more of a “we need 20 minutes” kind of stop than a full afternoon destination.
