Mary Welles Playground

Honestly, don’t come here expecting a traditional playground — there’s no equipment or play structures to speak of. What you do get is a basketball court and a small baseball diamond, which makes it a decent spot if you’ve got a pickup game in mind. It’s pretty no-frills, but locals know it for what it is: a place to shoot around or throw some pitches without a lot of fuss. Just worth knowing before you load up the car with little kids expecting slides and swings.
