Good luck finding a reason to leave once you get here — the kids certainly won’t want to. The fenced-in play area is a big deal if you’ve got little ones who like to bolt, and the climbing structure keeps older kids busy long enough for you to actually sit down. There’s shaded seating, picnic tables, and restrooms on-site, which puts this ahead of half the playgrounds in Hartford County. The basketball court gives the bigger kids something to do while the toddlers work the slides. It’s well-kept, spacious, and honestly one of the more dialed-in setups you’ll find in West Simsbury.
