Lake Gerar Playground

Right next to Lake Gerar, this little spot is genuinely one of the better playgrounds in the Rehoboth area — and locals know it. The gated enclosure is a real selling point if you’ve got runners or wobbly toddlers, and the soft rubber surface means falls aren’t the disaster they’d be on mulch or asphalt. Kids tend to gravitate toward the musical equipment, which is one of those features that sounds gimmicky but actually keeps them busy for a surprisingly long time. There’s a decent open grass field for older kids to stretch their legs, and the lake right there gives the whole place a calm, unhurried feel. Works well for the full age range — babies through tweens — and the accessible swing means it’s not just an afterthought for families with different needs.
