Bicentennial Park Playground

The new equipment here is a genuine upgrade — kids aged 5 to 12 get a solid climbing structure and multiple slides that actually hold up to Florida heat and heavy use. The shade trees do real work in the afternoon, which matters a lot when you’re in Crystal River and the sun isn’t messing around. Parents tend to claim the benches under those trees while the kids wear themselves out. Beyond the playground itself, there’s a basketball court right there and a bike track, plus the skate park is basically next door if you’ve got older siblings in tow. Restrooms on-site, which honestly makes or breaks a park visit with little ones.
