Englewood Beach Playground

Right on the edge of Englewood Beach, this little playground is basically a bonus stop after a morning in the sand. It’s nothing fancy — just solid swings and slides — but kids in the 5-12 range genuinely don’t care, especially when the Gulf is right there in the background. Parking is easy enough, which matters when you’re already hauling beach bags and towels. Locals know to hit it early before the sun really gets going, since there’s not much shade to speak of.
