Everglades

If you’re already making the trip out to the Museum of the Everglades, this little playground makes for a natural stop while you’re in the area. It’s Everglades City, so don’t expect anything massive — this is a small town with a big wilderness right at its doorstep, and the playground fits that vibe. Grab a bite at one of the nearby spots on Chokoloskee Island Road and let the kids burn off some energy before or after the museum. Honestly, half the appeal here is just being in Everglades City itself, which is unlike anywhere else in Florida.
