Fort Clinch Playground

Most people come to Fort Clinch for the Civil War history and leave without ever finding this little spot. It’s a quiet, shaded area right near the trails — good trees, picnic tables, and enough cover that you’re not baking in the Florida sun. Honestly, it works best as a post-tour stop where the kids can decompress while you sit in the shade and recover from the walk. Don’t expect a big flashy setup — this is low-key state park territory, and that’s kind of the point.
