Kiwanis Children’s Park

If you’ve got little ones running around Lake City, Kiwanis Children’s Park is one of those spots you’ll end up at more than once. The full fence is a huge relief — you’re not constantly chasing kids toward the parking lot — and the sand surface is genuinely nice for toddlers who want to dig around barefoot. There’s a sandbox and swings, plus the play areas are split up by age, so the big kids aren’t trampling the little ones. Pack a lunch because the shaded picnic tables actually make it comfortable to stick around, even when it’s pushing 90 degrees outside.
