Maitland Community Park

If you live anywhere near Maitland, this park is probably already in your regular rotation — and for good reason. There are multiple playground areas spread out enough that school-age kids can actually roam, plus tennis courts if you want to make a full afternoon of it. The shade coverage here is genuinely good, which matters a lot when you’re talking central Florida in July. Clean restrooms, picnic tables, and easy access to walking trails that skirt close to some wooded stretches make it one of those parks you keep coming back to. Locals know it stays well-kept, and that’s not something you can say about every park in the area.
