St. Joe Walkway/Palm Coast Linear Park

If you live in Palm Coast and haven’t done the linear park trail yet, you’re missing out. The paved path is smooth enough for strollers and bikes, and it connects to other trails if you want to keep going — which you probably will. There’s a shaded playground that’s actually shaded (not just a couple of sad trees nearby), plus picnic tables and restrooms that make it easy to stay a while. Keep your eyes open along the water and tree line; herons, turtles, and the occasional gator sighting are pretty regular here. It’s the kind of place locals come back to weekly without even thinking about it.
