One of the better-kept playgrounds in Punta Gorda, this spot has a merry-go-round that the kids genuinely lose their minds over — you don’t see those everywhere anymore. The themed structures, including a gator and an airboat, give it a distinctly Florida feel that actually makes sense for the area. Shade trees do real work here, which matters a lot when you’re talking about playing outside in southwest Florida. Restrooms are clean, seating is shaded, and the whole place is well-maintained enough that you’re not constantly side-eyeing things. Good for the 2-and-up crowd, and toddlers especially seem to have a solid time.
