The splash pad here got a solid redesign and it shows — the water features are well-thought-out for the little ones, and the climbing structure gives kids in that 2-8 range plenty to do between soakings. It’s a quieter neighborhood spot, so you’re not fighting crowds, and there’s actually decent parking which isn’t always a given. Grab a bench, let the kids run, and you’ve got views of the nearby pond that make the whole thing feel more like an escape than a typical city park stop. The walking path loops around nicely if you need to burn off some energy yourself or just want to stretch your legs while keeping an eye on things. Honestly one of the better low-key family options in Gainesville right now.
