Hanapepe’s got this little spot that’s worth knowing about if you’re passing through with small kids. There’s a couple of swings shaded by a big tree — genuinely good shade, not the kind that disappears by noon. The skate area gives older siblings something to do while the little ones swing, which is a nice bonus. Restrooms on-site make it a solid pit stop, especially if you’re doing the west side for the day. Best suited for the toddler-to-early-elementary crowd.
