Nākamalei Playground

A solid, fenced playground steps from the ocean in Kailua-Kona, Nākamalei keeps things sensible with separate structures for toddlers and older kids, good shade over the seating and equipment, and clean restrooms on-site. The artificial turf is showing its age, and you may share the park with other users that aren’t always considerate, but the soccer field and the nearby sunset views go a long way toward making this a worthwhile stop.
