Up on the slopes of Haleakalā, this little park sits right along Kula Highway where the air is noticeably cooler and cleaner than down at the coast. It’s the kind of spot upcountry families have been using forever — nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point up here. Grab a meal at Kula Bistro nearby and make a proper afternoon of it.
