There’s a little park in Buckley right by the water that most people outside of town don’t even know about. The lake nearby gives it a calm, unhurried feel — the kind of place where kids can run around while you actually decompress for a minute. It’s small-town Illinois at its most straightforward, nothing fancy, just a decent spot to get outside and let the afternoon disappear.
