Playground

The playground sits right inside Cave-In-Rock State Park, so yeah, you’re basically playing in one of the cooler spots in southern Illinois. It’s wheelchair accessible, which matters out here where a lot of the terrain isn’t exactly stroller-friendly. Kids get that rare mix of actual play equipment plus the woods and the cave itself just a short walk away — hard to beat that combination. If you’re already making the trip to see the cave, tack on some time here because the kids will not want to leave.
