Right on the lakefront, this spot has a lot going for it beyond just the play equipment. The enclosed area gives parents a real break — kids can run between the slides, swings, and climbing structure without anyone making a mad dash for the street. Younger kids and older ones each have their own setup, which cuts down on the usual chaos. When the littles are done, there’s a basketball court, a walking path, and open grass to burn off whatever energy is left. On a clear day you’ve got views of Lake Michigan and the skyline, which honestly makes it one of the better places in the city to kill an afternoon.
