Cambridge Crest Park

Crest Hill doesn’t have a ton of parks worth going out of your way for, but this one earns its reputation. The separate play areas for little kids and older ones is a genuinely smart setup — nobody’s getting bulldozed by bigger kids, and parents aren’t constantly running interference. There’s a short walking trail that loops near a pond, which is just enough to stretch your legs without it feeling like a whole production. The neighborhood is quiet, the equipment is modern and well-kept, and honestly it never feels trashed or sketchy. Parking’s right there, so loading up with gear and small children isn’t the nightmare it is at some other spots.
