Hastings Lake Playground

If you haven’t made it out to this one yet, you’re missing out. The playground sits right alongside Hastings Lake, so after the kids burn off energy on the slides and swings, there’s a whole walking path and open grass field to keep everyone moving. The rubber surfacing underfoot is the good kind — soft, well-maintained, not the crumbly stuff you see at older parks. Restrooms are clean, parking is easy, and the picnic tables actually get you a decent view of the water. Honestly a solid pick for any age, whether you’ve got toddlers or you’re just looking for a low-key afternoon outside.
