Aux Sable Springs Park

The zipline alone makes this place worth the trip if you’ve got kids in the 2-12 range — they will not want to leave. Aux Sable Springs Park has been upgraded recently and it shows, with clean restrooms, solid parking, and enough shade trees and covered seating that you’re not roasting in the sun all afternoon. The open grass field is great for letting little ones run while older kids work the zipline, and the walking path around the area is a nice bonus if you want to stretch your legs. There’s a pond nearby that draws the fishing crowd too, so it’s not just a playground stop — families end up making a whole afternoon of it. Honestly one of the more underrated spots in Minooka.
