Point Rock Park sits quietly on the edge of Mount Carroll near some solid trail access, and it’s the kind of spot locals actually use — not just drive past. Kids can splash around in the creek when it’s hot, which beats any splash pad in my opinion, and the disc golf course gives adults something to do while the little ones wear themselves out. Grab a picnic table, let the grass field do its thing, and enjoy the fact that it’s genuinely clean and never feels overcrowded.
