Urban Air in Normal is one of those places where you can drop in on a gray January afternoon and actually wear the kids out before dinner. The climbing structure keeps the older ones busy while the enclosed play area means you’re not constantly chasing after the little ones. Parents get decent sightlines throughout, there’s shaded seating when you need a break, and the staff here genuinely seem to like their jobs, which isn’t something you can say everywhere. Birthday parties book up fast on weekends, so plan ahead if that’s your thing.
