If you’ve got a soccer-obsessed kid, this park is worth the trip — the turf fields are genuinely nice and well-maintained, not the beat-up kind you see at half the parks around here. There’s a pond nearby that gives the whole place a calm, unhurried feel, which honestly makes it easier to actually enjoy an afternoon out. The play areas are split up by age, so younger kids aren’t getting bulldozed by the bigger ones, and there’s a dinosaur feature that’ll buy you at least twenty minutes of peace. Restrooms, covered seating, solid parking — it’s the kind of park where someone actually thought things through.
