Right next to Klehm Arboretum, this spot has a lot going for it beyond just the playground itself. The botanic garden grounds make for a genuinely pretty backdrop, and it’s easy to turn a quick play stop into a longer outdoor afternoon. Accessibility is a real priority here, which isn’t something you can say about every park in Rockford. Worth knowing if you’ve got kids with different mobility needs — it’s not an afterthought.
