Bison’s Bluff Nature Playground

If you haven’t taken your kids to Bison’s Bluff yet, you’re missing out on one of Schaumburg’s best-kept secrets. The water feature and sandbox combo alone will eat up a solid two hours, and the climbing structure is actually challenging enough that older kids don’t immediately get bored. I love that the musical equipment gives littles something to do while parents grab a seat at the picnic tables and decompress. The whole thing backs up against trails and wooded area, so it genuinely feels less like a cookie-cutter suburb playground and more like somewhere you’d actually want to spend a Saturday morning. Restrooms on site, which — if you have a toddler — you already know is non-negotiable.
