If your kid is into bikes, this spot is worth the trip. The pump track and BMX track are the real draw here — not your typical playground fare, and the older kids absolutely tear it up. It’s more of a ride-your-bike-until-your-legs-give-out kind of place than a swings-and-slides situation, so best suited for kids 5 and up who can actually handle a two-wheeler. Shelbyville doesn’t have a ton of spots like this, which makes Coon Creek feel like a bit of a local secret for the cycling crowd.
