The marina access and fishing make it a legit destination rather than just a pit stop — bring a rod if you can. Weekdays are genuinely quiet out here, and the wildlife along the water is a bonus nobody seems to talk about enough. Restrooms and parking make it easy, and the whole place is kept up well enough that you don’t have to think twice about bringing little ones.
