TreeTop Escape

If you’re in West Chicago and need somewhere to take the kids when it’s freezing out (or raining, or just too hot), TreeTop Escape is genuinely one of the better indoor play spots in the area. The tree theme is done well — not cheesy — and kids aged 2 to 10 get plenty to do between the climbing structure, slides, and the waterfall projection that always seems to stop little ones in their tracks. It’s enclosed, so you’re not chasing anyone into a parking lot, and the sightlines are good enough that you can actually sit down at one of the picnic tables and drink your coffee while it’s still warm. Restrooms are clean, which honestly can’t be said for every place like this. Birthdays work well here too — the setup handles parties without feeling cramped or chaotic.
