If you’re driving through Morgan-Monroe State Forest and need a break, this spot is worth pulling over for. There’s a shaded walking path, some decent tree cover to escape the heat, and restrooms — which, honestly, matter more than people admit after a long hike. The real draw is that you’re already deep in the forest, so the trails are right there waiting for you. It’s less of a destination playground and more of a solid rest stop with nature all around it.
