If you haven’t made it out to this Fortville gem yet, you’re missing out. The playground is genuinely one of the newer, nicer ones in the area — kids will burn serious energy here while adults actually get to sit somewhere shaded and breathe for a minute. The walking path winds near the water and backs up against the tree line, so it feels way more removed from everything than you’d expect for a small town park. Restrooms are clean, picnic tables are plentiful, and parking isn’t a headache. Good spot for a low-key family afternoon without driving all the way into the city.
