Honestly, Fort LaPlayPorte is one of those playgrounds that actually earns its reputation — this thing is huge. There’s a dedicated section for the little ones (2-5 year olds), so you’re not constantly pulling toddlers away from the big kid equipment. The zipline is the obvious crowd-pleaser, but the ground-level merry-go-round and the climbing structures keep older kids busy too. Restrooms, shaded seating, and picnic tables mean you can actually stay a while without suffering for it. It’s well-maintained and accessible, which isn’t something you can say about every playground in the area.
