Hannah’s Hope Playground

This place was built by the community, and you can actually feel it when you’re there. The rubber surfacing makes a real difference — kids with mobility challenges can actually get around without it being a whole thing, and the musical equipment is one of those features that sounds gimmicky until you see how much kids of every age gravitate toward it. There’s a splash pad connected to the play area, which in a Indiana summer is basically a lifesaver. Restrooms on-site, benches for the adults, and the whole thing is enclosed, so you’re not constantly doing a head count.
