Rockport’s got a solid little playground that locals actually use — swings, slides, and a climbing structure that keeps kids in the 2-to-12 range busy long enough for parents to actually breathe for a minute. The layout is pretty open, so you can keep an eye on your kids without constantly chasing them around. There’s a good stretch of grass nearby if someone needs to kick a ball around or just run off some energy. Being in the historic part of Rockport gives it a nice backdrop too — it’s the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than you planned.
