Honestly, it’s a low-key neighborhood park that doesn’t get much hype, but locals know it as a decent spot to get outside without dealing with crowds. Ames has plenty of bigger, flashier parks, but sometimes you just want somewhere quiet to let the kids run around or take a walk. Worth noting that it’s not wheelchair accessible, so keep that in mind before making the trip.
